Application of Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies

25/01/2010 - UK Border Agency announced that the student who will apply for tier 4 visa from 22 February 2010 must have Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) from a licensed sponsor instead of Visa Letter.

You can apply with visa letter until 21 February 2010 though your course will start after 22 February 2010.

The satisfactory CAS allow you to get 30 points. Your sponsor must submit a detail of about your application. How do they access your academic and English proficiency to accept you for the course. They must submit all of these online. You must have a unique CAS number to apply tier 4 student visa.

I will submit detail about CAS in my later posts.

Tier 4 colleges suspended list

Hey tier 4 students! Are you seeking which tier 4 sponsor is currently being suspended? Tier 4 licenses of these sponsors may be cancelled if they won’t be able to maintain the required quality prescribed by UKBA in the given time. In case of cancellation of license, current tier 4 student visa will automatically cancelled. The students must apply to another tier 4 licensed sponsor or return back to the home country. If your tier 4 visa applications or tier 4 visa extension is in process and your tier 4 sponsor is suspended, you may expect either delay in decision or refusal of your application.

The current suspended list shows that private profit oriented colleges are in suspension list. So, I would like to request prospective tier 4 students to choose public colleges or tier 4 universities.

You may view the tier 4 sponsors suspended list at http://www.tier4pbs.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=7

Ask your tier 4 college to ensure the protection of your time and investment

Hi all! I hope you are enjoying the study in UK. But international students in London may be in trouble because I am getting hundreds of messages by students to refer them the place where they can get part time jobs. At the moment I want to share some idea regarding part time jobs. This post is most suitable for prospective students.
Students are not the first target of employers because UKBA is actively monitoring the activities of colleges and students. If the employers provide opportunity to work more than allocated time UKBA may charge them heavy penalty even up to £10,000.
If you are trying to come in UK with a dream to earn plenty of money, please don’t come because you cannot save the money to make your dream real while studying.
UKBA is cancelling license of sponsors for recruiting immigrants! Not Students! Immigrants mean the tier 4 visa holders who are not actually able to study the course in terms of English proficiency, understanding and motivation.
In case the cancellation of license of tier 4 colleges, you should go back to your home country or join another tier 4 college. And most colleges have been issuing admission to the international students with the term “No refund of fee will be made in any cases after your visa was successful.” And most tier 4 colleges take first year tuition fee in advance. This means if your college’s license will be cancelled, your time and invest will be in vain.
Now! Prospective Students! Put your attention to ask your tier 4 sponsor and make agree the following terms:
1.       To make agree to refund full tuition fee in case the license will be cancelled
2.       To ensure that your investment and time will be secure and you will be able to get qualification. (Don’t ask your tier 4 college to assist you to find part time job because no one can guarantee you part time job at all because you should compete with thousands of minds and the situation. You should be able to study without needing any part time job as you sign agreement while applying visa.)
Good Luck!
